My 1st dossier document!!

My first document is complete and ready to be sent to China. I only have a dozen more. This one is my birth certificate that had to be authenticated by the State of Missouri then by the Consulate of China in Chicago. I do love Fed-Ex for delivering it safely. So my dossier has its first document. The dossier is the completed set of documents that is to be sent to China to request adoption of a child. One small step closer!

No, not the dog lost during the dog show!

Sadie was up for a visit last week while Mom and Dad went out of town. We are just torn up about the missing Whippet during the Westminster Dog show!

Fingerprints...

My fingerprints are now on record, kind of scary when you think about it?? It took only an hour and a half, then Mom and I had a seafood lunch in Charleston and walked around downtown. Thanks Mom, one step closer!

Home Study and fingerprints..

My last home study visit was completed on Friday, Feb. 10th. Jean brought the rough draft and we went over it to make any needed corrections. She will now have her co-worker review it then send to America World for review. Once America World approves, it will be sent to USCIS. I plan to go to Charleston, SC on Monday the 13th to be finger printed. Then the wait for the I-171H begins. This is the document that allows me to bring my daughter home. I hope the wait is short!
