Supper's on the Table!
I just returned from this place called "Supper's on the Table". Several of my gal pals and I went together to assemble meals to freeze and cook later. It was really cool, you pick out 8 meals to make and if you're single you can split them in half and have 16. They have all the ingredients and you just assemble the meal and they clean up after you. Heaven!! I made Pecan Crusted Grouper, Grilled Tuna with Dill, Chicken Marbella-a Greek inspired dish, Savory Mariniated Flank Steak, Grilled Chicken with Southern BBQ Sauce, French Toast Casserole and Tradd Street Chicken-a Charleston favorite. The split meals can even serve 3-4 people. I thought this would be good to try for future reference! A girl can only live on Lean Cuisine for so long;)!

Sorry....
As some of you know I put a cute fortune cookie link on the blog for fun. You clicked on the fortune cookie and a fortune would appear. Well....it was fun until a sleezy fortune came up. Yeck, so sorry, I wish they would have put a warning on it like "appropriate for the gutter". For those of you that did not see it please consider yourself lucky!!

One chore off my list...

Well, I have a list of several things I need to do before I go to China. The first was to replace my old single shelf and clothing rod with a closet organization system that allowed more storage in Sloan's room. After approximately 4 hours, 4 trips to home depot and a "burnt up" drill later here are the results!

Happy Father's Day, Dad!!

My parents were up for the weekend to celebrate Father's Day. Friday I took Dad to the Greenville Drive baseball game in the brand new stadium. Saturday we went to Wings and Wheels, an antique plane and car exhibit. We had a good weekend and he didn't even have to fix anything in my house (although I did try to coax him to install a closet shelving system but I didn't have the correct system)! I love ya Dad! Mom did help me with some cleaning, Thanks Mom;)!!

Down time..
Well, I have not posted in a couple weeks. Not much news but I have been cleaning out closets!! How can a single person have so much stuff? I took some clothing to a consignment shop and gathered items for a garage sale. I am ashamed to say I have some clothing with the tags still on. After I clear out all my junk I am looking forward to working on Sloan's room to pass the time.
